Everything about this one is legible in half a second, which is exactly what a novelty pendant needs to be. The lower half is the cone: a diamond waffle lattice pressed into the metal, tapering down to a proper pointed tip. The upper half is the soft serve — soft bands coiling up in the loose, uneven rhythm of a real swirl, with openings between the coils where the inside of the piece shows through. And the thing showing through is the pearl, sitting in the curl of the swirl like a scoop that has just been dropped in.
It is the tallest pendant in this group at 32mm, 1.25in including the bail, and that length matters — a cone has to hang, not sit, or it reads as a charm instead of a dessert. The proportion also makes the pearl look generous: a small ball inside a tall tapered cage reads larger than the same ball inside a round one, which is a nice trick when the customer is comparing sizes across your listings.
The merchandising writes itself, and it is seasonal by nature.
