A teapot, shrunk to the size of a fingertip. The body is the cage, one side stretches out into a curved spout, the other folds back into a long loop handle, and a small footed base keeps it sitting upright rather than swinging flat — which matters more than it sounds, because a teapot by definition has a bottom. Inside the body sits the pearl, and that is the joke the piece is built on: the pot is full, and what is in it is one perfect round thing.
