Product Description
Most heart pendants say the same thing twice, front and back. This one does something slightly cleverer with the space: the outer body is a wide heart cut through with scrolling leafwork, its stems finishing in small polished buttons, and inside that sits a second, smaller heart outline. Around the outline runs a tight band of tiny spheres, worked one by one, and beyond it — through the open heart of the heart — the pearl shows. The beaded ring is what carries it: it makes the pearl look set into the piece rather than rattling around inside it, and it lifts what is otherwise a simple shape into something that reads decades older than it is.
That combination has a ready market and does not need inventing. Hearts are the one motif that sells all year and peaks hard on two dates, and the buyers here are specific: mother and daughter sets, first anniversaries, promise gifts, and the customer who wants something softer than a solitaire and less obvious than a nameplate. The scrolling cutwork is almost paisley at this scale, which quietly opens a second shelf — boho and vintage edits, where a beaded heart sits happily next to tassels and hammered discs.
One note from the shoot, because it affects which frames you use. Because the pearl is visible through the centre, the pendant only reads as "set" when something is inside it — our empty-cage frame looks like an unfinished outline by comparison, and the frames where a pearl sits behind the beaded ring are the ones that sell the idea. Keep the white-background pearl shot as the main image and use the empty frame, if at all, further down the gallery as a structure shot.
Measured as marked: 21mm, 0.82in high including the bail by 14mm, 0.55in wide — a compact, upright heart that sits neatly on the collarbone. The two halves open apart on the hinge so the pearl can be swapped by hand; our shell pearls run white, champagne, peach and coffee, and it also takes any of our 8mm zircon balls if a customer wants the heart to hold sparkle instead of pearl. Plate runs front and back.
