Customizable Diamond Balls Heart Cage Pendant

Most heart pendants are a single outline with a hole in the middle. This one repeats the heart three times, each band nested inside the one before it, so the face reads as a series of ripples rather than a border — and the bands are smooth polished ribbons that follow the heart's contour instead of a lattice or a scroll pattern. That is the whole design argument: the shape stays pure, and the repetition is what creates the depth.

The repetition earns its keep because of what sits behind it. The ball's zircon pavé shows through the heart-shaped channels between the bands, so at almost any angle the customer sees stone rather than bare metal — one heart of stones inside another heart of stones inside a ribbon of silver. Only up close do you read it as a small ball in a cage; from a step away it is a heart made of sparkle held in a silver halo.

The top of the pendant carries the same idea upward: the bail sits on a chevron of folded band that echoes the heart's notch, and from there the heart outlines open downward one inside the next. Ten millimetres smaller than our larger heart cages and holding the same 8mm, 0.31in ball as the rest of this series, it measures 24mm, 0.94in high including the bail and 14mm, 0.55in wide — a delicate scale, styled on a fine silver snake chain and light enough to wear as a second layer under a heavier pendant.

Where it sells: this is the piece that answers "I love you more" without saying it — nested hearts carry that reading on their own, which makes it easy copy for anniversaries, Mother's Day and mother-daughter gifts. Because the face opens away from the back, the customer can change the ball colour, so the six stones in our photography — blue, black, rose gold, lilac, light blue and aurora — double as an upsell line on the same pendant.
