The ball is a smooth copper sphere covered in a fine stardust, glitter-finish texture across its whole surface, with no relief or enamel. Three finishes are available: silver-plated on a silver chain, rose-gold-plated on a black braided cord, or gold-plated on a black braided cord. A tapered bail carries the chain or cord; a small clapper inside rocks as the wearer moves, producing a soft low chime.
