The ball is a 20mm copper sphere carved as a sun wheel: a spoked wheel at the center, a ring of gold petals around it, a teal-blue band marked with dots and vertical lines, and an outer navy petal border. Two finishes are available: antique bronze frame with the same teal and navy enamel on a black braided cord, or gold-plated frame with the same enamel on a gold oval-link chain. A tapered bail on top carries the chain; a tiny clapper inside rocks against the shell as the wearer moves, producing a soft low chime. The gold-chain version is shown on a 45in (114cm) chain.
